Eclipse 2009 On 22 July, a total eclipse of the Sun traced a path from India to China and into the Pacific Ocean. Here are some of your images!
Martin Mobberley took these images from the Chengshangou Scenic Spot north of Hangzhou at 30 deg 49.022 min N, 119 deg 55.958 min E, alt=20m. "The pics were taken through cloud which thinned remarkably during totality despite it being totally overcast for most of the hours prior to 2nd contact. We were very lucky indeed!" says Martin. Totality lasted 5m 50s from this locality.
